About Alpe d'Huez Ski Resort 

If a new ski resort was to be designed from a blank canvas, the result would not be far from the ski resort of Alpe d'Huez. The ski area is almost perfection; massive fun, wide greens nearest the resort, then steeper blues, going up to reds and blacks at the top of the surrounding mountains. The resort has plenty of off-piste and boasts the longest black run in Europe. With most slopes facing south, and plenty of easily accessible lifts and gondolas going up to fine mountain restaurants, you cannot fail to enjoy Alpe d'Huez, no matter the age or skiing ability of you and your group.
